Why am I offering free hosting?
This is because when I started writing websites, I had problem finding a good (stable) host with no compulsory advertisement and came with many conditions. Later I learned that I cannot rely on free hosting and you get what you pay for! At the end I decided to go for pay host and now I found two which I am satisfy with and I would like to share this.
What do I gain out of this?
Make more friends! And share the benefit of paid hosting! :)
What will my url looks like?
You can choose to host under amtb.co.uk or vinlai.com. Say, if you choose amtb.co.uk, then your url will be yourname.amtb.co.uk and amtb.co.uk/yourname.
Is MySQL offered?
Yes, but on request only. This is because I cannot give you access to the control panel. I would set it up for you via the control panel.
Can I have more storage space?
Yes, if you show me you have use the provided 20MB well and give me a reason and how much more space you want. I will give you more space.
Do you support installation of free scripts like Mambo?
Yes, I can set that up for you on Fantastico. Just let me know which script you want and I will set it up for you.
What is supported and what is the limit?
The free hosting I am giving you is based on Downtown Host. So the best way to find out is to check out their website and see what I get from them.
