LCD TFT Monitor with Longhorn?
April 29, 2006 11:57 amYou might have heard of the new Windows Longhorn and something about the monitor currently on the market will not work with it. The thing is, if your monitor does not have HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection), it will not work with Windows Longhorn! You can find out more about this from this website.
I found out about this when I wanted to get a monitor because the one on my laptop doesn't work, but after considering that I might not sue windows in the future and even if I do, I don't use it to play DVD that much. So at the end I still get a new monitor :D.
