經云：人身難得，佛法難聞。若非宿有因緣，佛經名字，尚不能聞，況得受持讀誦，修因證果者乎。然如來所說，實依眾生即心本具之理。於心性外，了無一法可得。但以眾生在迷，不能了知。于真如實相之中。幻生妄想執著。由茲起貪瞋癡，造殺盜淫。迷智慧以成煩惱，即常住而為生滅。經塵點劫，莫之能反。幸遇如來所說大乘顯密諸經，方知衣珠固在，佛性仍存。即彼客作賤人，原是長者真子。人天六道，不是自己住處。實報寂光，乃為本有家鄉。回思從無始來，未聞佛說。雖則具此心性，無端枉受輪迴。真堪痛哭流涕，聲震大千。心片片裂，腸寸寸斷矣。此恩此德，過彼天地父母，奚啻百千萬倍。縱粉身碎骨，曷能報答。（正）竭誠方獲實益論 -  摘錄自《印光大師文鈔菁華錄》

		<description><![CDATA[這世界上無論好和不好，都是教人覺悟。好，就是教你覺悟好的地方；不好，就是教你覺悟不好的地方。好和不好都能覺悟，便沒有問題了。若好的不覺悟，便執著在這個好上；不好的不覺悟，便執著在一個不好上。無論執著「好」或「不好」，都是一種執著，有這種執著，在道業上就不能有所成就。必須要把好和不好的都看破，順境逆境都能處之泰然，就可以不被境界所轄。金剛經上說：「一切有為法，如夢幻泡影，如露亦如電，應作如是觀。」世間上一切有為法，好像作夢一樣，並不真實。又好像水中的浮泡一樣，是不實在的。像影子一樣，看是有，卻捉不住。又如同露水、雷電，瞬息消逝。應作這樣觀察，才能真正的看破；看破之後，還要放下。如果放不下，執著這個，執著那個，便得不到自在。無論順境或是逆境，把它放下，毫不執著，才能得到自在。~ 宣化上人開示

		<description><![CDATA[一切眾生。從無始來。迷己為物。失於本心。為物所轉。故於是中。觀大觀小。
一切含有靈性的眾生，從無始直到現在，都被無明所遮蔽，因此迷惑自己的真心，反認自己是物體。因失去真心，便為外境之物象所轉移，所以就在萬物中，見大見小。
什麼是『為物所轉』？為物所轉即是背覺合塵，和物合股，混合在一起，見到什麼境界，便執著什麼境界，執著一生，便失去主宰，隨境遷移，愈移愈遠，好像迷路，愈迷愈錯，動被物礙，見大見小，便給物象所轉了。
若能轉物。則同如來。身心圓明。不動道場。
『若能轉物』，什麼叫轉物？轉物便是背塵合覺，不被外境物象所轉移。要明白一切外境，皆是自己心裏所現，『一切唯心造』。既然是自己心裏所現，為什麼要被它所轉移？要跟它跑？明白這個道理，就找到自己的真心，便能背塵合覺，和如來一樣，得到楞嚴大定，就有光明，身和心都能圓滿光明，隨處都是不動道場了。
當人迷時，妄認四大為自身相，便被四大所縛而不圓，妄認六塵緣為自心相，就被六塵所障而不明，這便是認物為己。又妄認諸法心外實有，這便是迷己為物。所以動被物轉，若能轉物，則身為法性身，圓照周遍，心為妙明心，靈明洞徹。萬物身心，本來一體，所謂『天地與我同根，萬物皆我一體』——哪還有什麼執著？不執著便能如如不動，了了常明，和如來一樣，隨處都是不動道場，隨處都是圓照周遍法性身。

心是菩提樹，身為明鏡臺，明鏡本清淨，何處染塵埃。
何期自性，本自清淨；
何期自性，本不生滅；
何期自性，本自具足；
何期自性，本無動搖；
何期自性，能生萬法。

薦亡的辦法
對於薦亡等事，須以念佛吃素為主。（切戒酒肉魚葷。）若是要為著功德大，用場省，最好請幾位僧尼來幫助念佛。日數的多少，又看自己經濟情況怎樣來決定。對於念佛薦亡，最好家屬等多多參加，因為家屬有情愛的關係，念佛比較他人會親切些。念佛無論出家的僧人，或在家的俗人，若有懇切至誠的心，功德就大。凡每日念佛功德，於靈前代亡人回向往生西方。那亡人若是已生西方，亦能增高蓮花的品位；如未往生，也能仗此念佛功德力量的緣故，亦得往生西方。世俗上的人，大多數都把誦經、拜懺、焰口等事為奇特，念佛作尋常，這些都是不懂佛理的人，觀經上說：「念一句阿彌陀佛，能消除八十億（八百萬）大劫生死的重罪。」誰人敢說念佛是尋常呢？又觀經下品上生文中說：「聽到十二部經首題的名字，消除一千劫極重惡業，念一句阿彌陀佛的名號，消除五百萬大劫生死的罪。」又說：「但能聽到阿彌陀佛的名，除無量大劫生死的罪。」這在經中有根據有證明的，不是空說的，這樣對比起來，就可曉得念佛的功德最大了。凡是誦經、拜懺、焰口等種種法事，若有至誠的心，功德也是很大的，可惜現在的人，至誠的心很少，印光祖師說：「現在的僧人，多是敷衍了事，不能如法，只求場面好看，徒作虛套。設使專門念佛，則人人都會念，功德又廣大，又切實。如將念佛功德，回向給法界眾生，同生西方，則功德就更加廣大得多了，對於亡人所得的利益，也更廣大得多了。」
亡人生西方以後，眷屬人等，在四十九日以內，應該吃素念佛，淨守五戒，（不殺生、不偷盜、不邪淫、不妄語、不飲酒及不食五辛）則生存者和亡故者，兩者皆悉得大大的利益了。

薦亡等事
七七日內，欲延僧眾薦亡，以念佛為主。若誦經拜懺焰口水陸等事，雖有不可思議功德，然現今僧眾視為具文，敷衍了事，不能如法，罕有實益。印光法師文鈔中屢斥誡之，謂其惟屬場面，徒作虛套。若專念佛，則人人能念，最為切實，能獲莫大之利矣。如請僧眾念佛時，家族亦應隨念。但女眾宜在自室或布帳之內，免生譏議。
凡念佛等一切功德，皆宜迴向普及法界眾生，則其功德乃能廣大，而亡者所獲利益亦更因之增長。
開弔時，宜用素齋，萬勿用葷，致殺害生命，大不利於亡人。
出喪儀文，切勿舖張。毋圖生者好看，應為亡者惜福也。
七七以後，亦應常行追薦以盡孝思。蓮池大師謂年中常須追薦先亡。不得謂已得解脫，遂不舉行耳。

關於中陰的問答
問：凡人死了以後，那家屬在七七四十九天內還要吃素念佛，做種種功德回向給亡故的人，是什麼意思？

答：亡故的人如果是的確已生西方，那家屬在四十九天內吃素念佛做功德給亡人：一方面能增高他蓮花的品位；二方面家屬每個人得福無量。設使沒有往生西方，那麼雖然死了，尚未決定就去投生，入於中陰時期。此時家屬為他念佛，做種種功德，開發他的淨土善根，使他在中陰期中，生信發願念佛求生西方。只要家屬和他具足淨土三資糧，定可以蒙佛接引，往生西方。摘錄自&#60;&#60;飭終須知&#62;&#62;妙真法師監定, 釋世了敬述
