佛制比丘，食存五觀，散心雜話，信施難消，凡受食時，當作此觀：

1. 計功多少，量彼來處 (一砵之飯。作夫汗流。)
2. 忖己德行，全缺應供 (缺則不易。全乃可受。)
3. 防心離過，貪等為宗 (離此三過。貪嗔痴也。)
4. 正事良藥，為療形枯 (飢渴病故。須食為藥。)
5. 為成道業，方受此食 (不食成病。道業何從。)

五觀若明金易化。三心未了水難消。要常存慚愧心。莫失正念。聞聲悟道。見色明心。不要心外見鬼。各存正念者。一聲磬念一聲佛也。不說人我是非。散心雜話。施主一粒米。大如須彌山。若不自了道。披毛戴角還。修因感果如種田。水養禾苗。如智水潤心田。能念念在道。則處處都是道場。善用心者。心田不長無明草。處處常開智慧花。既然人身已得。佛法已聞。就要努力修行。勿空過日。

「如何才是念佛法門中向上頓悟的一條路，如何才能夠離四句絕百非，如何是念佛人最後究竟的法則，如何是在雜亂錯誤之處的腦後一鎚。希望和尚您把過去以來大家所說的『自性彌陀』、『唯心淨土』等話，拋向一邊，讓我等親見如來的境界，痛快地述說一番，震動一下三千大千世界。」

智旭(藕益大師)回答言：「所謂向上頓悟的一著，本來非禪亦非淨，即是禪也即是淨。才說到『參究』，已經是曲折宛轉為下根人而說。果真是大丈夫的話，自己 應當確實深信『是心作佛、是心是佛』，如果有一念之際與佛有隔離的話，就不名為念佛三昧。如果能夠念念與佛毫無間隔，那麼又何必辛苦地去問誰呢！西方淨土 的最根本究竟之事就是：『沒有眾生心外的佛，而能為眾生心所念；也沒有所謂佛之外的眾生心，能夠憶念著阿彌陀佛。』正當下手念佛之時，便是不落四句百非，即是全身投入清淨法性。只要能見到阿彌陀佛一毛孔的光明，即可見到十方無量諸佛。但得往生西方極樂淨土一個佛國，即是生於十方諸佛的淨土。此即是向上究竟 的一路，若是捨棄現前的阿彌陀佛，另外說個自性彌陀；捨離西方淨土，再說一個唯心淨土，這就是所謂的混亂不清的公案。經典說：『三賢十聖住果報，唯佛一人居淨土。』念佛求生淨土就是令人清醒的腦後一鎚。只要能夠深信此法門，依信起願，依願起行，則能於念念之間流出無量的諸佛如來，遍坐十方微塵國土，轉大法輪。即使是照耀古今，也不是分外之事，又何止是震動三千大千世界而已呢！」 摘錄自《淨土聖賢錄易解》

旭答(藕益大師)言，向上一著，非禪非淨，即禪即淨。才言參究，已是曲為下根。果大丈夫，自應諦信是心作佛，是心是佛。設一念與佛有隔，不名念佛三昧。若念念與佛無間，何勞更問阿誰。淨土極則事，無念外之佛，為念所念，無佛外之念，能念於佛。正下手時，便不落四句百非，通身拶入。但見阿彌陀佛一毛孔光，即見十方無量諸佛。但生西方極樂一佛國土，即生十方諸佛淨土。此是向上一路。若舍現前彌陀，別言自性彌陀，舍西方淨土，別言唯心淨土，此是淆訛公案。經云，三賢十聖住果報，唯佛一人居淨土。此是腦後一錘。但能深信此門，依信起願，依願起行，則念念流出無量如來，遍坐十方微塵國土，轉大法輪。照古照今，非為分外，何止震動大千世界。

Seems the map on this site is now fixed, other than the speed everything seems fine. Also started another site using the map (ulguide.co.uk/map/). The reason for starting it is complicated! Basically the map was meant to be on Imperial College Buddhist site, but the union requested us to move everything back to the union host!!! Therefore I have to move the site back, but moving the gallery back to the union server is not fun and cause too much problem. So I decided to start a new one instead, have had the ulguide.co.uk domain for a while and didn't really use it so I thought it's a good time to start on it.

The idea is to help you get a feel of London or for freshers to get to know their Uni a bit better. Many sites are out there for info, but this one just concentrate on the map and hope to give you enough info just on the map. The site is still in the test phase so comments are very welcome.

Didn't actually spend much time on it as there are too many things going on, have to finish the UROP project on the DE2 soon. Started writing the manual although the drivers for the RAM still doesn't work. A camera will be added to it and should be arriving next week. After that will be moving house and Freshers Fayre…

Today when I was talking back to work, I suddenly realise how much leaves there are on the ground! I was really stock and really just realise it's almost October already, time flies!! Trying to enjoy and concentrate on everry moment while I can and don't get lost in this busy place.

I just upgraded the google map plugin module to the v 0.5.1a version, this module support the Google Map API v2! That's great, lots of improvement and you can zoom in more… But I'm having a lot of problem with it!!!

• The API on the site is wrong, for some reason it keeps telling me that the api I have is for a different site but I believe this is fixed after adding a few api to it!
• Have problem showing the map in IE, it seems a blank grey area will show when you open it in IE, solution so far is to refresh the page!
• The response is quite slow! It seems that it takes longer to load!

Please let me know if you find more problems with the map.

Have been very busy with a lot of things, including the intership… I spent the whole of last week just trying to write the Handel-C driver for reading and writing to the Flash RAM and the SRAM on the DE2 board. And also displaying using that to display a image to the screen using only 800×600 resolution. Didn't throught it will be that hard, but a lot of small things just wouldn't work and having to go a very long way to find out how to do it, which I guess happen all the time in projects. lol Here are some photos of the VGA output when I was trying to output a 8bit greyscale photo to the screen.

So… not that easy… and after the whole week I did manage to get the photo display correctly! But it's only a greyscale image, the problem is all the RAMs on the board are only up to 16 bits wide and loading the image on to the RAM was also a challenge. Three more weeks to go, and my aim is to be able to display a colour image, video scream a camera input and write up a manual. Hopefully will get a colour image to display by the end of tomorrow .
